Remi

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Remi is an AI-powered SMS receptionist service for local service businesses (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Remi is operated by Isaiah Kim, sole proprietor, 407 West 39th Street, New York, NY 10018. Contact: hello@kynth.studio.

2. Information we collect

From businesses using Remi: account email, business name, business phone number, business address, hours, services and pricing, FAQs you write, and billing information processed by Stripe.

From end customers texting a Remi-enabled business:the customer's phone number, the content of their SMS messages, the times those messages were sent and received, and any booking details (name, service, appointment time) the customer shares during the conversation. We do not collect location, contacts, or any other data from the customer's phone.

3. How we use it

We use the information solely to operate the Service: replying to incoming customer SMS, generating and confirming bookings, sending 24-hour and 1-hour appointment reminders, and requesting a review after the visit. We do not sell, rent, or share any of this information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use it to train AI models outside of the immediate session needed to generate a reply.

4. Service providers

Message content and metadata are processed by a small set of providers necessary to deliver the Service: Twilio (SMS delivery and inbound webhooks), Google Gemini (AI reply generation), Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (billing), and Vercel (application hosting). Each is bound by its own data-processing terms.

5. Message frequency, opt-out, and help

Message frequency varies based on a customer's interaction with the business — typically one reply per inbound message, plus up to three transactional messages per appointment (24-hour reminder, 1-hour reminder, post-visit review request). Message and data rates may apply from the customer's carrier.

To opt out: reply STOP to any Remi message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages from that business through Remi. For help: reply HELP to receive support contact information. No charge from Remi for STOP or HELP.

6. Data retention

We retain conversations and bookings for as long as the business's account is active so the business can review its history in the dashboard. When a business cancels their Remi subscription, conversation and booking data is retained for 90 days and then deleted. A business can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing hello@kynth.studio.

7. Children

Remi is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kynth.studio from the address associated with the request. We respond within 30 days.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Remi dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect.

10. Mobile information sharing

No mobile information (phone numbers or message content) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with the service providers listed in Section 4 is limited to what is necessary to deliver the Service. This restriction does not apply to other uses, including compliance with legal requirements.
